Thor Faced About 'Avengers' in 'Thor: The Dark World' Extended TV Spot

"I saw you with The Avengers." In the teaser trailer and theatrical trailer for Thor: The Dark World, we've seen that Thor is reunited with his human love interest Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) after the god of thunder was seemingly unable to return to Earth until he came to claim his brother Loki in The Avengers. But now that he's back on Earth, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has some questions to answer because Ms. Foster saw him fighting alongside The Avengers in a new TV spot. It's an amusing moment, but I hope there's not overwhelming silly humor like this and Alan Taylor keeps the focus on the epic side of things.

Here's the new TV spot for Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World from YouTube:

In the aftermath of Marvel’s Thor and The Avengers, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fights to restore order across the cosmos, but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Alan Taylor ("Game of Thrones") directs Thor: The Dark World which arrives in theaters on November 8th. What say you now?

Must Watch: Aaron Paul in Amazingly Hilarious 'Need for Speed' Trailer!

"I will find strength, find guidance, and I will triumph." Well, we weren't expecting this. The first trailer for DreamWorks' adaptation of the racing video game series Need for Speed has arrived, and it's hauntingly beautiful and action-packed all at the same time. Using a slow, sweeping orchestral score and a gorgeous opera voice, the soundtrack is juxtaposed with the fast-paced action in the film starring "Breaking Bad" regular Aaron Paul. This looks intense, and just might give the Fast & Furious franchise a run for its money, bringing some emotional weight to the adrenaline-fueled action. Or this could just be a trick. Watch!

Here's the first trailer for Scott Waugh's Need for Speed, originally from Apple:

Need for Speed is directed by stuntman turned director Scott Waugh and written by George Nolfi, John Gatins and producer George Gatins. Framed for a crime he didn’t commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey (Aaron Paul) gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man responsible for his false conviction. Tobey tears up the road in a gritty cross-country journey— one that begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption. Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots and Michael Keaton also star in the film arriving next year March 14th, 2014.

'Thor: The Dark World' Unveils An Extended TV Spot

"Your bravery will not ease your pain." The last extended TV spot showed the chief villain Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) threatening Thor, and now a new TV spot shows more of the destruction coming for Earth and Asgard. This one jumps around a lot showing Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in action, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) doing what he does best, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) in trouble, and plenty of dark elves giving them trouble. The sequel is just over a month away with a debut on IMAX screens at the end of October before hitting all theaters in November. We can't wait to see more of Marvel's Phase Two!

New Behind-the-Scenes Featurette + Images for 'Thor: The Dark World'

The Blu-Ray and DVD release of Iron Man 3 is coming on September 24th, and one of the bonus features on the disc will include the first featurette for Thor: The Dark World, the next chapter in Phase Two of Marvel's cinematic universe. Complete with interviews featuring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and director Alan Taylor, we get a good tease of where this sequel will take the god of thunder. There's talk of going off-world for most of the movie and seeing the other Nine Realms. Portman teases that it's very "operatic" and the scale is truly epic. See below.

Here's the first featurette for Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World, originally from Trailer Addict:

The Dark World producer Craig Kyle explained to Empire where we find Thor and Asgard in the sequel:

Watch: 'Getaway' Mystery Trailer Starring Selena Gomez & Ethan Hawke

After running a trailer for the action thriller Getaway starring Ethan Hawke and Selena Gomez last month, we realized this was actually the same trailer which arrived in June. That just goes to show you how memorable the film seems to be. Sadly, this second trailer isn't much more engaging and it just highlights the explosions, car crashes and senseless plot following a getaway driver (Hawke) told he must follow directions from a mysterious guy on the phone to save his wife. And Gomez plays a little troublemaker who gets caught up in the nonsense along the way. Yeah, this definitely looks super silly and plainly ridiculous.

Here's the new trailer for Courtney Solomon's Getaway from Warner Bros. Pictures:

Getaway is directed by Courtney Solomon and written by Sean Finegan and Gregg Maxwell Parker, making their feature writing debut. The story follows former race car driver Brent Magna (Ethan Hawke) as he desperately tries to save the life of his kidnapped wife by commandeering a custom Shelby Cobra Mustang, taking it and its unwitting owner (Selena Gomez) on a high-speed race against time, at the command of the mysterious villain holding his wife hostage. Warner Bros. and Dark Castle Entertainment release the film in theaters late this summer on August 30th. Well?

Watch: Trailer for 'McCanick' Starring Cory Monteith in His Final Performance

For those who may not know, "Glee" star Cory Monteith passed away last month due to a drug overdose following a stint in rehab. However, the actor still has two big screen performances (in addition to another "Glee" film concert at Radio City Music Hall) on the way. One is in a film called All the Wrong Reasons premiering at TIFF, and the other is called McCanick, and the trailer has just arrived online. Monteith takes the lead in the film as a drug addicted criminal whose release from prison triggers paranoia and violence in detective Eugene McCanick (David Morse), who has a secret in his past only Weeks can expose.

Here's the first trailer for Josh C. Waller's McCanick from Deadline:

McCanick is directed by Josh C. Waller (Raze) and written by Daniel Noah. In the film, a hothead cop (David Morse) learns a young man (Cory Monteith) he helped put away seven years ago is back out on the streets — and carries with him an uncomfortable secret. Ciaran Hinds, Mike Vogel, Rachel Nichols, Trevor Morgan, Aaron Yoo, and Tracie Thoms also star in the film which will premiere at TIFF next month. Good?

'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' International Trailer, Coldplay To Contribute Song

"I want you guys to forget everything you think you know about the games." Another exciting new trailer for the next sequel in The Hunger Games series, titled Catching Fire, has arrived online. This brand new international trailer is essentially just a shorter version of the second full-length US trailer that debuted at Comic-Con, with some editing tweaks and different footage spliced in. But it still looks just as good. Yes, I can't wait to see it, I do enjoy this story. Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss, with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch, plus a big ensemble cast of talented actors all around. Enjoy.

New international trailer for Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, via SlashFilm:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, a competition that could change Panem forever. Francis Lawrence directs the film written by Simon Beaufoy and Michael Arndt and it arrives November 22nd this fall. You in?

Must Check: The New Trailer For Marvel's 'Thor: The Dark World'

"Thor - your bravery will not ease your pain." The God of Thunder is back! And so are all of his Asgardian friends. Marvel has debuted the second full-length trailer for Thor: The Dark World, the Alan Taylor-directed sequel to Kenneth Branagh's origin story. Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, along with Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Jaimie Alexander as Sif. This time, at least according to the plot they hint at in this trailer, Loki and Thor must team up to take on the Dark Elves. There's tons of action in this, I'm excited to see it, looks like another fine Marvel movie.

Watch the second full trailer for Marvel Studio's Thor: The Dark World, in high def via YouTube:

Watch: Ashton Kutcher is an American Legend in New Trailer for 'Jobs'

"Welcome to Apple Computers." After the first full trailer showed off pretty much the entire story arc of Steve Jobs in the appropriately named biopic Jobs from director Joshua Michel Stern, This trailer uses Macklemore's chart-topping track Can't Hold Us, complete with a clever audio edit to fit with the presence of Macintosh personal computers, and the same cheesy but inspirational vibe that the entire film encompasses as it chronicles the highs and lows of Jobs' pursuit for technological innovation.

Rule the Dark: Action Packed Trailer for Vin Diesel's 'Riddick' Sequel Hits

"Ya - let's cut him loose." How much more Riddick can you handle? Out of nowhere, Universal has debuted one more trailer for David Twohy's Riddick sequel starring Vin Diesel as the Furyan badass with night-vision eyes. This now brings the grand total to five trailers for Riddick, between teasers and full trailers and the red band one shown at Comic-Con and everything else (not even counting TV spots). I honestly cannot wait to see this movie, I think it looks totally badass and I'm excited for it (I love Pitch Black), but I've seen enough. I just want to watch the whole movie. Also stars Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista & Jordi MollĂ .

Here's the final theatrical trailer for David Twohy's Riddick, in high def from Regal Entertainment:

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction. Universal is releasing Riddick everywhere on September 6th this fall.

Don't Let Go: IMAX Poster + 3 Trailers for Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity Debuts!

Don't let go! How about some more marketing for Alfonso CuarĂ³n's Gravity to keep this upcoming movie on the top of your mind. IMAX has unveiled their new poster for Gravity, featuring nothing but a black sky and a floating astronaut. It's the kind of imagery I've been pushing for them to use because the minimalism fits the movie and sells the experience. This poster comes on the heels of three fantastic uncut teaser scenes featuring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. Along with those scenes came three wide theatrical banners, which I tossed in below as well. Hopefully the marketing is keeping everyone as excited for this film as I am.

Courtesy of @IMAX, the new IMAX poster for Alfonso CuarĂ³n's Gravity. Better than the first teaser poster?

Here's the third "I've Got You" scene from Alfonso CuarĂ³n's Gravity, in high definition from YouTube:

Gravity is directed by visionary Mexican filmmaker Alfonso CuarĂ³n, of Great Expectations, Y Tu MamĂ¡ TambiĂ©n, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Children of Men previously. The screenplay was written by Alfonso CuarĂ³n and his son JonĂ¡s CuarĂ³n. Warner Bros delayed Gravity from its initial release in 2012 and now has it scheduled to hit theaters in IMAX and 3D on October 4th this fall. See the first trailer.

Watch: Chris Hemsworth is a Racing Loverboy, in New Trailer for 'Rush'

"More powerful than even the fear of death itself, is the will to win." We've already seen a teaser trailer, a full theatrical trailer and a flashy adrenaline fueled trailer for Ron Howard's period racing drama Rush. Now one more film for the fall release has popped up that paints Formula 1 racer James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) as a bit of a playboy, while his opponent Niki Lauda (Daniel BrĂ¼hl) is taking things a little more seriously. The trailer has a nice blend of drama and the thrill of the races along with the inclusion of a Jay-Z and Kanye West tune, and this looks like a solid new feature for Howard as a director. Watch below!

Here's the new trailer for Ron Howard's Rush from the film's YouTube channel:

Director Ron Howard's Rush, from a screenplay written by Peter Morgan, is a biography about Formula 1 champion driver Niki Lauda and the 1976 crash that almost claimed his life. Mere weeks after the accident, he got behind the wheel to challenge his rival, James Hunt. The movie is set in the 1970s and follows the on-and-off track lives of Hunt and Lauda and their racing teams of McLaren and Ferrari. The cast includes Olivia Wilde, Natalie Dormer, Alexandra Maria Lara and Christian McKay. Universal will release Rush in theaters starting September 20th this year.

Electro Turn Out in 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Comic-Con Tease!

Today, we began running the gamut that is Comic-Con here in San Diego. Across from the convention center, you can see some big banners for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hyping the panel happening Friday, July 19th at 4pm in Hall H. And in addition to those banners, there's also a short video teaser featuring Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro. With a menacing voiceover and some sweeping shots of equipment in the lab of Max Dillon, there's a pretty cool reveal of the electrified villain before a bumper appears directing people to the exciting panel. The good news is you don't have to be here to see it. Watch!

Here's the Electro teaser for The Amazing Spider-Man 2:

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and written by Jeff Pinker, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.

Trailer + Poster for the 'Escape Plan' Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone

"You don't look that smart." "You don't either." Summit has finally unveiled the trailer for Escape Plan, formerly known as The Tomb, a new prison escape movie co-starring both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone. The concept of this is actually pretty damn cool - take two experience prison escapees, throw them in a next generation prison with faceless guards, special cells and other tricks. Then let them try and escape. This should be fun, and thankfully the footage looks like it might live up to that concept. This is the kind of badass 90's action movie I've missed recently. I'm looking forward to seeing how they pull it off!

Here's the first official trailer for Mikael HĂ¥fström's Escape Plan, originally from IGN:

Escape Plan is directed by Mikael HĂ¥fström & written by Miles Chapman. Jim Caviezel, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D'Onofrio & Amy Ryan also star in the film which Summit releases on October 18th.

Watch the Action Packed International Trailer for The Wolverine!

"Trust me bub, you don't want what I've got." Uh oh. This looks badass! Fox has debuted another brand new international trailer for James Mangold's The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman once again as Wolvie defending his honor in Japan. We've seen plenty of trailers and footage, including the most recent theatrical trailer which contains a lot of the same footage. But this new trailer presents the story much more straightforward and gives us a better idea of the kind of action and stakes that are being set. I love each little hint more we're getting in this, with the train fight and the Silver Samurai, this is going to kick ass. Bring it!

Here's the new international trailer for James Mangold's The Wolverine, found on YouTube:

James Mangold is directing The Wolverine from a script by Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Bomback who are adapting the classic 1982 story arc in the Wolverine comics, which takes our favorite Marvel mutant all the way to Japan. 20th Century Fox is releasing James Mangold's The Wolverine in theaters everywhere on July 26th later this summer. Action Flick: Debut Trailer + Poster for '300: Rise of an Empire' is Here!

After we saw a precise number of Spartans dine in hell in the adaptation of Frank Miller's graphic novel 300, from Man of Steel director Zack Snyder, the follow-up, 300: Rise of an Empire chronicles a new war with elements of the story taking place before, during and after the first film. Smart People director Noam Murro is stepping into action territory for the first time, and this pseudo-sequel certainly has the style and spirit of the first film. Sullivan Stapleton leads the pack as Themistocles leading Greece to a hopeful victory over the Persian forces of Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and the villainous vixen Artemesia (Eva Green). Can this make a splash with the audience who loved the original macho film? Watch below!

Here's the first trailer for Noam Murro's 300: Rise of an Empire, originally from Yahoo:

Noam Murro directs 300: Rise of an Empire and adapted by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad. Greek general Themistocles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy. Warner Bros is releasing 300: Rise of an Empire everywhere in 3D on March 7th, 2014 early next year.
